Optimal prechirping for dispersion-managed transmission of return-To-zero pulses

摘要

We present analytic expressions that predict the transmission dynamics of chirped return-To-zero (CRZ) pulses in dispersion-managed fibers. The theory enables us to efficiently calculate the prechirping required to optimize system performance.
