摘要
This paper presents transient characteristics of a three-phase induction generator connecting to a large utility grid. An approach based on three-phase induction-machine model is employed to derive dynamic equations of the studied induction generator. The eigenvalue and eigenvalue sensitivity schemes are also employed to examine the characteristics of the studied induction generator operated from an induction-motor mode to an induction-generator mode. Experimental results obtained from a laboratory 2.2 kW squirrel-cage rotor induction machine driven by a brushless DC motor are also performed to validate the effectiveness of the analyzed results.
