摘要

AMT (ATM Multicast Tree) protection via preplanned root-leaf backup routes requires no search time, but duplicate paths may cause redundant bandwidth consumption. A tree-structured closest-node algorithm is proposed in this paper, which can locate a minimum-length route structure, for use during initial design and rebuild backup tree AMT as network failure.
