摘要

The relaxation rate v_p of poloidal rotation in the banana regime in tokamaks is calculated using a time-dependent parallel viscosity. It is found that v_p is on the order of v_ii, the ion-ion collision frequency, with no geometric enhancement factor associated with toroidicity.
