摘要

Two types of mica ceramics, nonadditive and phosphate-bonded types, were fabricated by hot isostatic pressing. The densities of HIPed specimens increased with temperature, pressure, time of treatment and amounts of additive. Mica with 10 wt% H//3PO//4 was HIPed to a density of 2. 70 g/cm**3 under conditions of 700 degree C, 150 MPa, and 1. 5 h.
