This paper presents the small-signal model of the full-bridge LLC LED driver for system analysis. By using the Taylor series model, a V-I curve lookup table is generated to model the LED. The LED array can be built by a simple equivalent circuit composed of one LED model and two dependence sources for circuit simulation. The frequency modulated signal caused by small-signal perturbation can be demodulated by the LLC resonant tank and the full-wave rectifier to the load. Therefore, the control-to-output transfer function can be derived. A simulation circuit of 576W full-bridge LLC LED driver is built to validate the derived small-signal model.
