N2 - Somatosensory rub reflex epilepsy, evoked by prolonged or repetitive cutaneous contact of a circumscribed body area, is an unusual form of reflex epilepsy. The peculiar complaints and the negative interictal electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings make it difficult to identify the epileptic origin. Here we report an unusual case whose seizures would be evoked by a touch or rub on a unilateral arm and shoulder, with a contralateral temporal lobe origin, demonstrated in immediate postictal single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
