摘要

Detonation of dusts with different gaseous oxidizers have recently been of interest because of their possible role in dust explosions. It is found that some dusts detonate in air while many more are detonable in pure oxygen or air enriched by oxygen. A model for the reaction zone of a dust detonation taking two-phase flow effects and wall losses into account has been developed. The flow in the reaction zone is assumed to be one-dimensional and steady.
