N2 - Several proposed objective stress rates were used in endochronic modeling for simple shear and pure torsional loading cases in finite strain range. Certain unreasonable behaviors were observed, such as oscillating stress-strain response or axial effect with unacceptable value when compared with real material behaviors. Using the concept of plastic spin, the theory is capable of describing the deformation in finite strain range. It is shown that with suitable amount of plastic spin, axial effect caused by torsional loading can be properly described.
