N2 - Gasification of industrial rubber wastes with syngas and energy recycling was investigated. Gasification of industrial rubber wastes can be described by the corresponding rate equation: dX/dt = (1.21×109) exp ((-35)/(1.987×10-3 T))×(1-X)1.2[O2]0.9. In addition to the generation of syngas (H2+CO>93%, dry basis), approximately 6.58×107 kcal/hr of thermal energy were recovered from the gasification of industrial robber wastes. The cold gas efficiency for the industrial rubber waste gasification was 83.8%, which may be enhanced by operating the gasification at O/C atomic ratios between 1.05 and 1.20.
