摘要

Environmental Protection Administration has been sustainably consulting the community to promote Low-Carbon Sustainable homeland. The population of Ming-Hua District of Chiayi City is around 1,400, and it covers an area of 3.5 k m2. Our team took investigations on the field for planning. After carrying out some programs, it has shown significant results that it could decrease carbon content of 700,791 kgs yearly through environmental greening; adopting energy-saving equipment, and making effective use of wetlands, etc. Taiwanese Environmental Protection Administration devotes more care in building a low-carbon community, and they strive to help the community by achieving a better quality lifestyle for the residents and make more effective use of resources by all means. They are expecting to gather strengths from all over Taiwan, together, to implement the same; and hoping to reach the goal of slowing down the pace of global warming.
