N2 - A hydrogen fuel cell/hybrid electric scooter, called Pegasus One, has been launched by the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Taiwan. The Pegasus One scooter, developed by NCKU researchers in collaboration with local enterprises, completed an initial round-trip drive of >80 km between the Alian District of Kaohsiung and the Hsinhua District of Tainan. The scooter has a range of >160 km (100 mi), using hydrogen from two 6.8 L high-pressure cylinders fabricated in carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Meanwhile, Malaysia has developed its first indigenous hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle, a golf buggy designed and produced by the Fuel Cell Institute at the National University of Malaysia.
