摘要

Many children who use the Home for the Disabled cannot clearly express their thoughts or opinions due to cerebral palsy or autism. The humidity of the building ranges from 73% to 94%, while the temperature ranges from 29 to 31 °C, thus, it becomes an environment where funguses and bacteria are easily developed. Among these buildings, which are regulated by the IAQ Act, many cannot cope with the humid climate of southern Taiwan from their first design stage. In order to dehumidify these poorly designed buildings to the level that would not harm the human body, it is necessary to use the power of machines. However, in order to save energy and costs, the law is ignored, and these buildings are allowed to exceed the regulated level of humidity.
