N2 - The research aims at examining the role and management of IOS in influencing interorganizational information integration and collaboration. In particular, this paper emphasizes the relationship between the applications of IOS. The empirical evidence, drawn from the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources (MENR) in Taiwan, is a new integrated agency to understand and solve problems associated with natural resources and environment. This case study applies "in-depth interviewing" to interview 7 leaders in MENR and academic researchers studied in the relative field. The results show that trust, departmentalism egoism, IT security and information flow is important influential factors in interorganizational integration.
