title = "Two-port networks",
abstract = "This chapter will briefly introduce two-port network descriptions which are closely related to that of the general control framework involving descriptions using LFT and CSD. The two-port network was developed as a common methodology to describe the relationship between inputs and outputs of an electrical circuit. For example, the impedance matrix of a two-port network can be determined by each port{\textquoteright}s voltage and current according to Ohm{\textquoteright}s law. The exposure in this book will focus on both scattering (i.e., LFT) and chain scattering (i.e., CSD) parameters as well as their applications to the modern control theory.",
