摘要
An ultra-short-wavelength filter using photonic band gap (PBG) mode-related dispersion in a two-moded waveguide is proposed. It is verified using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, such that two channels on the PBG edges are affected by opposite dispersive effects and can be separated by an ultra-short coupler length much shorter than the required length without the assistance of PBG dispersion.
