Unconventional Superconductivity and Electron Correlations in the Cobalt Oxyhydrate NA0.35CoO2 · yH2O from Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance

摘要

A 59 nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) measurement on cobalt oxyhydrate Na0.35CoO2·yH2O superconductor was performed. NQR measurements were carried out using a phase-coherent spectrometer. The spin-lattice relaxation rate follwed a Curie-Weiss type temperature variation in the normal state that indicated two-dimensional antiferromagnetic spin correlations. As the temperature decreased, the spin-relaxation rate also decreased with no coherence peak and indicated non-s-wave superconductivity that was consistent with the existence of line nodes in the gap function.
