摘要

The newest retinal stimulator chip, Retina3.55, has sixty biphasic currents. Using the chip, we have implemented a 25-channel backpack stimulator for animal testing of visual prosthesis. In order to address the thermal behavior of the implanted system, a computer model based on FDTD has been developed to quantitatively study the electromagnetic deposition and thermal induction in the human head by the proposed prosthesis system. The assembly of the proposed prosthesis system is undergoing.
