On the Coincidence of the Nucleolus and the Slack Maximizer Rule

摘要

Allocations for airport problems are required to satisfy non-negativity and no-subsidy The slack maximizer rule selects the allocation keeping the longest distance in the lexicographic maximin manner from violating both requirements (Thomson 2015) The nucleolus is another famous rule for airport problems It maximizes the welfare lexicographically In the paper we show that the nucleolus coincides with the slack maximizer rule
